2. Tilt with Adjustable Tilt Tension
Sometimes, manufacturers may describe tilt and tilt tension adjustment as two separate functions. We find that these office chair controls are closely related. And only when they are set together, can they act as one function.
Most types of task chairs, computer chairs and executive chairs have a tilt function which can adjust the tilt tension.
Tilt is what allows the user to swing or lean back to the set limit defined by the chair mechanism or control panel.

3. Tilt Lock
This function isn’t as simple as it sounds, and a great many people have difficulty with this.
One of the problems with tilt locking is that some manufacturers may use different levers or place the lever in different areas to control this function. And that results in the chair tilt locking adjustment that can be modified in many ways. The best practice to help you become familiar with the specific controls of the chair is always to consult your chair user manual.
Generally, some manufacturers may use levers or paddles (such as levers or paddles for seat height adjustment) to control the tilt lock. Or many manufacturers use a single lever or rod that needs to be pushed in or pulled out to lock or unlock the tilt of the chair.

5. Back Height Adjustment

This adjustment is usually modified by turning a shaft located on the backrest rod or frame.
